Saying of Hasan al Basri (RA):

We all need to strive our utmost and get into the habit of continiously reminding ourselves that at one point we will die and we will be asked on the day of judgment about how we spent our time.

Whether we spent it in disobedience, sin, innovation and getting caught up with the worldy life. Or, being upon the sunnah, upon righteousness and upright moral qualities.

We need to 'take ourselves to account before we are taken to account', because on that day, what are you going to pleade to your Lord? What have you put forth for His sake?

We need to become vigilant of our actions and remind ourselves to fear Allah at all times.

May Allah protect us and allow us to make the most of our time in that which is pleasing to Allah. Ameen.
