Prayer in congregation is 27 time superior to

*****************************************************************************
" I never missed the evening congregational prayer (I’sha) until a guest came to my house on night and I stayed in his company and missed the evening prayer. So I went out looking for a masjid in the city of Basra where I can catch the prayer, but in vain. I found that people had already prayed, and masjids had been closed.

I returned home saying to myself the hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam saying:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"The prayer in congregation is twenty-seven (27) times superior to the prayer offered by a person alone."

So, I prayed the evening prayer twenty-seven times over and then went to sleep. In my sleep, I dreamt that I was with a group of people who were racing on horses. I was also racing with them on my horse but I was failing behind them. I kicked my horse to catch up with them but I could not.

One of them turned to me and said: "Do not urge your horse, for you will not be able to catch up with us."

I asked: "Why not?"

He replied: "We prayed the evening prayer in congregation but you prayed it alone."
I woke up, deeply grieved.
Subhan’Allaah! Subhan’Allaah reflect from this man! Look at his determination, and his grief upon missing one salaah.

Yes, I say, do not race with an injured horse and I meant it being your salaah.

Your real battle is right there,
********************************** with your nafs, that’s the jihad you should really really be concerned of, once you are firm with it, then everything will go in its way, to be able to have a firm dedication you have to have a firm belief in your heart.

O men of this Ummah :-
************************** you are our protectors, our mujahideen, our warriors, the flag bearers of the Kalimah! So be the likes of ‘Umar Ibn Al Khattab (R.A), Ali Ibn Abi Talib (R.a), Hamza Ibn Abdul Muttalib (R.A), the Khalid Ibn Al Walid (R.A), Salahuddin Al Ayyub, such were great men of this religion (deen - islam), they were great warriors but what mold them to be such great fighters for this deen (religion) was nothing else but their taqwa and love for Allah (swt).

Know that these great men would go into the battlefield, strong as mountains, but crying like babies in their Salaah out of their fear and love for Him! They were consistent in their prayers!

And we pray that we become such establishers of salaah that whenever azaan (adhaan) is called we get up immediately and leave our works to go and perform one of the best gifts that He has given us, salaah.
