Taking shelter with Jinn is Shirk.

Taking shelter with Jinn is Shirk.

Allah the Most Exalted said: “And verily, there were men among
mankind who took shelter with the male Jinns, but they (Jinns)
increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief.” (Ch.72: V.6)

Khaula bint Hakim Sulamiyya reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When any one of you stays at a place, he should say:" I seek refuge in the Perfect Word of Allah from the evil of that He created." Nothing would then do him any harm until he moves from that place. Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said:" Allah's Messenger, I was stung by a scorpion during the night. Thereupon he said: Had you recited these words in the evening:" I seek refuge in the Perfect Word of Allah from the evil of what He created," it would not have done any harm to you.
(Sahih Muslim, Book #035, Hadith #6542)

Important issues of above Quran verse and Hadeeth

_ Seeking refuge from other than Allah is a form of Shirk
(Polytheism).

_ Though it is possible that one can achieve some worldly
benefit from a thing such as prevention of harm or evil, or
gaining some advantage or good, it does not mean that it
(dependence on such) is not Shirk.
It is shirk without doubt even if somebody is benefited by such act.

_ The scholars use this Hadeeth to prove that Allah's Words
are not created beings because to seek refuge in created
things is Shirk.

Jazak Allah Khair.
