The people who celebrate Mawlid (prophet's birthday peace be on him) are spreading !!!

The people who celebrate Mawlid (prophet's birthday peace be on him) are spreading around a statement by Ibn Kathir. This is the passage:

"Iblees (satan) cried loudly four times; first when Allah declared him as cursed, second when he was thrown out (of paradise), third when the prophet (peace be on him) was born and fourth when surah al-fatiha was revealed."

-[Ibn Kathir in -Al Bidayah-wan-Nihayah', Volume 2, pg:166].

So the sufis/barelwis say: "Look, Iblees cried when the prophet (peace be on him) was born! And the 'wahabis' dont celebrate Mawlid and they always make a fuss on Mawlid like Iblees!"

We say:

1.) What is the authenticity of this passage? Is there evidence to support that Ibn Kathir's statement about Iblees is true? We, unlike sufi/barelwis, base our belief upon evidence and proof, not stories. And even if it WAS true, lets continue:

2.) It is a fact the the scholars/histrorians of Islam do not know the EXACT DATE of birth of the Prophet (peace be on him). Some said that he was born on:

*The 2nd of Rabbi al-Awwal.

*The 8th of Rabbi al-Awwal.

*The 10th of Rabbi al-Awwal.

*The 12th of Rabbi al-Awwal (and this is the majority view point).

*And some even said that he (peace be on him) was born in the month of Muharram!).

However, we do know by consensus that he (peace be on him) was born on a Monday. Now the sufis have no argument, because Iblees cried out on the DAY the prophet (peace be on him) was born, not the DATE he was born. He cried once, not annually as they make out to seem.

3.) As for the death of the Prophet (peace be upon him) then it is known that he passed away on the 12th of Rabbi al-Awwal, and this is the well-known vast majority view with authentic proof.

So we say in response:
