Who is Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

"And we have sent you O Muhammad, not but as a mercy for humankind and all that exists." (Quran 21:107)

Prophet is reported to have said:
"I am the prayer of Abraham (peace be upon him) and prophecy of Jesus (peace be upon him)".
(Musnad Imam Ahmad)

"The Lord Your God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of Your brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken." (Book of Deuteronomy. 18:15)

"And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him". (Book of Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

First revelation in the cave of Hira were these 5 verses and Angel Gabriel recited 3 times again and again until Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited as it is...

"Read in the name of your Lord who created"
"Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:"
"Read, and your Lord is the most Generous"
"Who taught by the pen"
"Taught man that which he knew not."
(Holy Qur'an 96:1-5)

“The last but not the least mark of the Periqlyte is that he will not speak anything of himself, but whatsoever he hears that will he speak, and he will show you the future things” (John xv. 13).

It was this "Spirit of Truth" ( Muhammad (peace be upon him) ) that demonstrated the birthright of Ishmael, the innocence of Lot, Solomon, and many other prophets of old including Isa (Jesus) and Virgin Maryam (Mary) and cleared their name of the slur and infamy cast upon them by the Jewish forgerers.

"And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient."
(Holy Quran, 2:99)

"Verily, We have revealed to you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him) ) as We revealed to Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) revealed to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], 'Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur."
(Holy Quran, 4:163)

When next complete word of God is revealed, NOW it is to be followed, it is not only FREE of corruption and complete but it is FINAL and DIRECT word of God.

"And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?"
(Holy Quran, 2:170)

"And a faction of the People of the Scriptures say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will abandon their religion,"
(Holy Quran, 3:72)
