We must never forget how truly blessed we are

'We must never forget how truly blessed we are, and we must remember that gratefulness is not only the characteristic of al-muslimeen, but is our duty as the servants of ALLAH (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala).

It is obvious to us to be grateful to ALLAH, look at all that He has given us. A home, a family, clean water and food, the chirping of birds and the love of our friends. Then there are the things we don't think about, the beating of our hearts, the ability to see and hear, and even that we woke up this morning.

ALLAH has blessed us with so much, and if we look to the Qur'an the list goes on and on.

In Surah ar-Rahman, there are a list of things ALLAH has blessed us with, the sun and the moon, the stars and the trees, water, and even the easiness of the Qur'an to remember . It's so plain and easy to see everything ALLAH has given us, and yet this Surah repeats something over and over.

ALLAH says in the Holy Qur'an :

"Therefore, remember Me). I will remember you, and be grateful to Me and never be ungrateful to Me."
— [Surah Al-Baqarah : 152]

This ayah indicates the importance of expressing gratitude to ALLAH. Remember me and I will remember you. Subhan'Allah, how beautiful is this :)

And that is what an Alhamdulillah lifestyle is, being happy with our Lord (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala), when we are both blessed and cursed. When things are great and when they are terrible. And when we feel both lost and found..

"Alhamdulillahi wa salatu 'ala rasulillahi wa ‘ala alihi wa sahbihi wa man wala."
(Praise to ALLAH, and prayers and peace upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and their followers).

We ask ALLAH to keep us grateful and appreciative of all of His blessing.
We ask ALLAH to help us remain amongst the pious, and those who praise Him even in tragedy.
And We ask ALLAH to guide us to the Sirat al-Mustaqeem (straight path).

INSHA'ALLAH..........ameeen :)'
