Assalam Alaikum wa'Rahamtullahi wa'barakatahu

Arrogance is one of the characteristics of Iblees Satan, so whoever wants to be arrogant should realize that he is acquiring a characteristic of the devils, and that he is not acquiring a characteristic of the noble angels who obeyed their Lord and fell down prostrate.
The first one who showed arrogance towards Allah SWT and His creation was the accursed Iblees Satan, when Allah SWT commanded him to prostrate to Adam and he refused and was arrogant, and said, “I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay.”

Bismillahi - Rrahma'ni - Rraheem
ALLAH in the name of the most Affectionate ,the Merciful.

And undoubtedly, We created you, then made your shapes, then We said to the angels, 'prostrate before Adamthen all those fell prostrate, but Iblis (devil); he was not of those who prostrated.

He said, 'what prevented you that you did not fall prostrate when I ordered you? Said he, I am better than him,You created me of fire and made him of clay.'

He said 'get you down from here, it is not for you that you may behave proudly living here, get out, you areamongst the degraded ones.

Said, he' give me time till the day they are raised up'.
- Surat Al-Araf, 7 :11-13

And make not your cheek crooked while talking to any one and walk not in the earth struttingly. Undoubtedly Allah loves not any arrogant boaster.
- Surat Luqman, 31:18

And walk not in the earth boastfully, undoubtedly, you shall never cleave the earth, and shall never reach tothe mountains in the height.
- Surat Al-Isra,17:37

No one will enter Paradise in whose heart is an atom’s weight of arrogance:

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported:
Most beloved Allah Last Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu aleihi wa sallam), said, “No one who has the weight of a seed of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise.”
A man said, “Indeed, a man loves to have beautiful clothes and shoes.” Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu aleihi wa sallam) said, “Verily, Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty. Arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down on people.”
