Common mistakes in Salah (prayer)..
A common mistake made in the prayer is to tuck up or roll up the clothes when praying. It is makruh. (disliked to do so)
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said “I was commanded not to tuck the hair or the garment in prayer.”
Imam Nawawi says "The scholars are unanimously agreed that it is not permissible to pray with one's sleeves or garment rolled up and the like, that is not permissible according to the consensus of the scholars, and it is makrooh in the sense of being discouraged and not proper. If a person prays like that, he has done something wrong but his prayer is valid"
