THE EVIL EFFECTS OF SINS, WHICH DEPRIVES YOU OF KNOWLEDGE
نور الله لا يهدى لعاصشكوت إلى وكيع سوء حفظي ..... فأرشدني إلى ترك المعاصيوأخـبرني بأن العـلم نــور ..... ونور الله لا يهـدى لعـاص
The light of Allah is not given to the disobedient:“I complained to Wakee’ of my poor memory. Leaving sins is what he guided me to address. He informed me that knowledge is a light. And Allah’s light is not gifted to those who transgress.”
[Diwan ash-Shafi'i]-
knowledge is light from Allah (swt) so you need to stay away from sins...So be afraid of Allah; and Allah teaches you. And Allah is the All-Knower of each and everything. (Al-Baqarah 2:282)
