Dua for Protection from HARDSHIPS, MISFORTUNES, ENEMIES and EVIL DESTINY
أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوْءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ
Allaahummaa inna na’oothubika min jahdil-balaa, wa darkish-shaqaa, wa soo’il-qadha, wa shamatatil-‘adaa
”O Allah, Surely we seek refuge in You against the hardship of turmoils and attacks of misfortunes and evil destiny and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies”
Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu anhu)reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) used to seek refuge (in Allah) from the evil of destiny and from falling into the hand of calamity and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies and from the hardship of misery.
Abu Sufyan reported: I am in doubt that I have made an addition of one word in this supplication. Sahih Bukhari:6616
