‘Aqidah (creed) is the main origin of Islam and the basis of the religion.

The religion of Islam is founded upon the ‘Aqidah and whatever you do; if the ‘Aqidah is not sound it will not be accepted.

Imām ash-Shinqeeṭī Raḥimahullāh: “A man DOES NOT benefit from a deed UNLESS it is based upon the foundation of CORRECT 'AQIDAH.”

The Deen is sets of beliefs, from the beliefs branches out actions you are supposed to do and Allah will not accept from you the actions unless the beliefs are sounded.

Shaykh Ibn Baz said: “If the `Aqidah is not sound, all actions and words are void.”
