WHY Mawlid-an-Nabi birthday of Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) should NOT BE celebrated? # NOTHING in the shariah permits the celebration of birthdays. # NONE of the sahaba the Tabi’een or Taba at-Tabi’een celebrated prophet’s birthday. # It is BID’AH that was introduced during 4 AH. # IMITATION of the disbeliever (Christians). # EXAGGERATION of the Prophet (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). # Opens the DOOR to shirk and other innovations.
