No matter what people did to the ProphetMuhammad (PBUH), he kept spreading the message of Islam. When he went to the city of Taif to convey the message he was pelted & stoned as he preached alone. Yet he still continued preachining. The people of Taif had stopped chasing him, and he sat down, tired & bleeding, being tortured & humiliated by the people of Taif. There he made dua to Allah SWT saying (something which basically means) "...despite everything they did to me, I'm going to just let it go & all that matters is that you are pleased with my O Allah!" (The is a popular dua, just search Prophet dua in Taif & it should come up). Then The angel comes & said, "O Muhamad, if you want, command me & I will cause the 2 mountains of Taif to collapse upon them.' The Prophet, still bleeding & his shoes still wet with blood says, 'No! Rather, I pray that Allah blesses their children to be Muslims & worship Allah alone. Even if they have rejected Islam, I pray that Allah blesses their progeny to be Muslim.' The Prophet Muhammad PBUH, was verbally and physically attacked yet he kept making duaa and was kind to those who had so much hatred towards him and hurt him. Subhanallah. Prophet Muhammad PBUH was so kind and forgiving.

I ask Allah to make us from those who have the strength to forgive those who have hurt us and to be from those who are kind. Aameen.
