So recently I received this stupid video on whatsapp that was dubbed over some scene of Mahabharat or Ramayan (not sure) and it was basically mocking the beef ban.

The abhorring thing is it was at the same time making fun of Hindu gods and Hindu Mythology. I do not know if you guys have come across it. But sadly many people Hindu, atheist and Muslims alike are enjoying it and passing it around and making fun of it.

This post is educate you all and clear Islam and its teaching from its attachments.

As a Muslim it a command from Allah that I or any Muslim should not make fun of Gods that other people believe in. We are also commanded to not make fun of anything that is sacred to others. I know for a fact not many Muslims act upon it but if you want to take someone for example take me.

“Do not revile those they call on beside God, so they, in their hostility, revile God, without knowledge”
[6:108]

The direct meaning of this verse is that reviling, insulting, or cursing the idols is prohibited because indirectly we are causing our God to be reviled, insulted or cursed. No matter how much we disagree with idol-worship, we cannot mock, insult, or curse idols, idolaters, or idol-worship. This verse is also teaching us that there are always consequences to our actions. Just like we hold our religious symbols very dear to our hearts and we consider them holy or untouchable, people of other faiths will feel the same towards their religious symbols, no matter how ridiculous those symbols may seem to us. Therefore, we should have mutual respect of religious symbols in order to live together in a civilized manner. At the least, we should, as they say, respectfully disagree.

I do not believe in Idol worship and I do not believe God has a son, mother, wife or father. The basis of Creator is ALLAH IS ONE AND THERE IS NO ONE LIKE HIM.

This Surah/ Chapter from the Qur'an forms basis of what Creator we believe in.
"Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
He begets not, nor was He begotten;
And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
{Surat Al Ikhlas 112}

I beg you to not relate this stupid video to Islam. Islam is perfect Muslims are not, If you are interested in Islam please pick up a Qur'an and read it.
