"I was born in a Hindu family and for many years I was lost and confused about religion. I embraced Islam 9 years ago Alhamdulillah and have been wearing hijab for 4 years now. I lost all of my family and a lot of friends through wearing hijab which was a struggle. I have learned to love my hijab and I wear it full-time. I have been given a lot of criticism from so called family and friends but Allah has truly blessed me with patience and the courage to move on and rise above what people think. My advice to any sister that wants to wear hijab is focus on why we are wearing it and it is fard (obligatory). May Allah make it easy on all of us, ameen." - Ayesha from UK
