It is reported that Sufyān Al-Thawrī [رحمه الله] said:





It is reported that Sufyān Al-Thawrī [رحمه الله] said:
"There is nothing that corrupts a person or rectifies him more than [his] companion."

Mixing With People Of Good Character...

It is reported that Al-Fuḍayl b. ʿAyyāḍ – Allāh have mercy on him – said:
Do not mix except with those who have good character; for the one who has good character brings nothing but good, whilst the one who has bad character brings nothing but evil.

Imaam As-Sa'dee (رحمه الله) said:

“Companionship with good people leads to beneficial knowledge, virtuous manners and righteous deeds, whilst companionship with bad people prevents one from all of this.”

"I advise the righteous woman to be diligent in accompanying the righteous women, because indeed with this she will increase in Imaan, knowledge and insight."
