"3 years ago, I reverted to Islam. I was from a Catholic family but always been drawn to Islamic culture, people and Masjids/Islamic architecture. So finally with the help of the Muslim families in my neighborhood, I took Shahadah (testimony of faith) in November 2014. From then on, I started wearing veil or hijab and I feel its elegant,and simple. I wear almost all colors but I feel black Hijab is the best. It's beautiful and less hassle and no need for hairstyle or makeup. It's simple and reminds you of your faith and love for Allah(Swt). Covering your head is the main sign of Muslim woman and so I feel it's my identity and reminds me always that I am a Muslim. Alhamdulillah."-Sadiya from India
