RAMADAN PREPARATION: PRAY THE FIVE DAILY PRAYERS IN THE MASJID

ALLAAHU AKBAR !!!

Dear muslim brothers and sisters these are some of the practices we should try to develop, so that we may benefit from it and make most of this month of ramadan.

RAMADAN PREPARATION: PRAY THE FIVE DAILY PRAYERS IN THE MASJID

The reward for praying with the jam'a is 1,350 times greater !!!

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The prayer of a man with another man is better than his praying alone, and the prayer of a man with two other men is better than his praying alone or with only one other man, and the more people there are, the more beloved it is to Allah.” [Sunan al-Nasâ’î (843) and Sunan Abî Dâwûd (554)]

“Prayer in congregation is twenty seven times better than prayer prayed individually.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (645) and Sahîh Muslim (650)]

This refers to a masjid where Salatul Jumu’ is not held. Alhamdullilah, in most masjids these days, this is not the case, and salatul Jumua’ IS held, and the reward for praying in any one of these masjids is FIFTY times the reward of a non Jaami’ masjid, i.e., 50 x 27 = 1,350 times the reward of praying alone at home. [Ithaaf, Fada’il Al Hajj]

Can we pray 2,700 rakah at home for fajr? Well, all one needs to do is to go the masjid and pray only TWO rakaat to get the exact same reward!!!

And what is value of reward from Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala)? The Prophet (Salla Allahu 'aleihi wa sallam) said:

“….A place in Paradise as small as that occupied by the whip of one of you, is better than the world and whatever is on its surface.

If one the women of Jannah would just appear to the people of this world, the distance between the heavens and the earth will be filled with light and her scent will cover the whole distance.

And the SCARF that she has on her head is better than the world and EVERYTHING in it. [Musnad Ahmad, Al-Bukhari also collected a similar narration]
