Al-Qaahir (the Irresistible) and Al-Qahhaar (the All-Compelling Subduer). Everything in creation is subdued to Him and functions in accordance with His will. It is He who subdued the sun and moon to provide light in the day and in the night, as well as being a means to calculate the passing of months and years. This Divine Attribute requires from human beings an attitude of gratitude for all the blessings in creation Allah has granted us. It is the reason why we can control the wild horse and the elephant for transport and work, and even the lion and the tiger for our entertainment in circuses, even though they are stronger, bigger and fiercer than us!! القاهر و القهّار
