Hadith from Sahih Muslim

Abu Hurayrah (Ra) reported that the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, while there is good in both. Guard over that which benefits you, seek Allah's Assistance, and don't lend yourself to things devoid of benefit, and if something befalls you, then don't say 'If I only would have done such and such,' rather say 'Allah ordained this and He does what He wills' for verily the phrase 'If I would have' makes way for the work of the Devil." (Muslim, 2664)

⇨According to this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer", meaning strong and weak in the level of faith and his attitude to carry out what God ordered him to do. It is quite clear that we must be strong believers to be more loved by our Creator.

•►There are several factors that make one a strong believer.
The strong believer is the one who guards over that which benefits him, seeks the help of Allah's, doesn't lend himself to affairs devoid of benefit, and understands firmly that what happens is from Allaah's Qadr (Divine Will) saying " Allah ordained (this) and He does what He wills" through calamities. All these things are matters that will increase you in eeman, thus making you a stronger believer.

-►That's is why we should not say 'if only' as this word is from satan who creates doubts and negativity in your mind. Also Allah know better than you. Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is! [36:82]
If something seemingly bad befalls us we say-Al-hamdu-Lillaah ‘ala kulli haal (Praise be to Allaah in all situations)
→SAY Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us…’” (9:51).

⇨A strong believer also considers seeking the help of Allah and His assistance as the main part of worship; he always depends on God in everything and every step; he always refers his good deeds to God and deems his bad deeds to himself and Satan. Every act and deed he performs, he intends it for the sake of God only. SubhanAllah.

→SAY Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us). (Qur’an 3:173)
Sufficient is (ALLAH); your Lord as a Guide and Helper. (Qur’an 25: 31)

►Through this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to always be optimistic, bright, with a positive mind and most importantly not to give up when striving to fulfill the rights of God.

O Allah, always guide us all to be more positive and make us stronger believers than we were yesterday. Ameen.
