AND WE SETTLE IN THE WOMBS WHOM WE WILL FOR A SPECIFIED TERM, THEN WE BRING YOU OUT AS A CHILD, AND THEN [WE DEVELOP YOU] THAT YOU MAY REACH YOUR [TIME OF] MATURITY. AND AMONG YOU IS HE WHO IS TAKEN IN [EARLY] DEATH, AND AMONG YOU IS HE WHO IS RETURNED TO THE MOST DECREPIT [OLD] AGE SO THAT HE KNOWS, AFTER [ONCE HAVING] KNOWLEDGE, NOTHING. AND YOU SEE THE EARTH BARREN, BUT WHEN WE SEND DOWN UPON IT RAIN, IT QUIVERS AND SWELLS AND GROWS [SOMETHING] OF EVERY BEAUTIFUL KIND”.

Dear Non- Muslims Brothers and Sisters, Thus there is no contradiction in the Holy Qur’an when it says that man is created from sperm, dust and water. It is a CONTRADISTINCTION. It means speaking about two different concepts on the same subject without conflict.
The Holy Qur’an refers to the lowly beginnings of a human being from a drop of sperm in several verses, including the Surah 75:37 Qiyamah (See above). And the Holy Qur’an also mentions in several verses that human beings are created from dust, including the Surah 22:5 al-Hajj (See above).
Scientists have proven that all the elements present in the human body (i.e. the constituent elements of the human body) are all present in the earth. This is the scientific explanation for the Holy Qur’anic verse that says that man was created from dust.
In other verses the Holy Qur’an says that man was created from sperm. However this is not a contradiction. Contradiction means statements that are opposite or conflicting and both cannot be true simultaneously. All the statements in the Holy Qur’an regarding to the creation of a human being are correct.
Man created from water; in certain verses the Holy Qur’an says that man was created from water. Allah SWT says, Holy Quran, Surah 25:54 al-Furqan, “IT IS HE WHO HAS CREATED MAN FROM WATER”.
Today, Science has proved all the three statements to be correct. Man has been created from sperm, dust as well as water.

The two statements are not contradictory since both water and tealeaves are required in order to make a cup of tea. Furthermore if we want sweet tea we can even add sugar.
