✦ OUR TEARS & HARDSHIP ✦
☛ Stop Worrying! Nobody is free from Trials & Tribulations!
Our tears is made of 1% water and 99% feelings. Each drop of a tear is more costly than anything in this world... but no one knows its value until they have it in their own eyes. No one really knows the pain, the hurt, the sorrow and the difficulty of another until they experience it themselves. Whenever we go through a hardship or suffer a calamity, we say this is a test from Allah.
When we lose our job or a loved one or we get sick, we acknowledge that this is a trial from the Allah Almighty. And surely, that is true. However, we fail to realize that even when we did not lose our job, even when we did not lose a loved one and even when we did not suffer any hardship or calamity, we are still under a trial from Allah. Yes, that's right. When we are at ease, enjoying good health and sitting cozily in the comfort of our homes, enjoying the company of our families and spending time with our friends, we are still being tested. In fact, this test is harder to pass than the test of hardship. So, wise are you, if you realize that all the wealth you have, the health that you enjoy, the families and friends that you have, the easy, good times that you take pleasure in, are all blessings that are, in reality, tests from Allah.
Allah Almighty Says in Holy Quran: "O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." [Surah Al Baqarah 2:153].
If you are grateful to your Lord, remembering Him in times of ease, thanking Him, surrendering to Him and obeying him, Allah will pass you in this test with flying colors and bless you even more. And surely, remembering Allah in times of ease and success is far more difficult than remembering Allah in times of difficulty. However, if difficult times come and they will surely come, then Allah will remember you in these times of difficulty just because you remembered Him in times of prosperity.
☞ Always remember the following Beautiful Holy Quran Verses!
Yaa Allah!
I told you: Do not leave me
You said: 'So remember Me; I will remember you...' [Surah Al Baqarah 2:152].
I told you: I'm facing a lot of difficulties in life
You said: 'And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out' [Surah Al Talaq 65:2].
I told you: Oh Lord I need hope
You said: 'Indeed, with hardship will be ease.' [Surah Al Sharḥ 94:6]
I told you: I have many dreams that I want to come true
You said: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.' [Surah Gafir 40:60]
I told you: Many people hurt me
You said: 'So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them' [Surah Al I’mran 3:159].
I told you: I feel I'm alone
You said: 'We are closer to him than his jugular vein' [Surah Qaf 50:16].
I told you: My sins are so many
You said: 'And who can forgive sins except Allah?' [Surah Al I’mran 3:135].
All the prophets, being human beings, had to undergo tests and trials which resulted in temporary stress. They constantly remembered Allah and received peace through His remembrance. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), for example, himself used and advised his followers to use the following Dua in times of distress/difficulty.
☛ “Allah is sufficient for us, and He is an excellent guardian, and we repose our trust in Allah.”
☛ “Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shell we return. O Allah, I beseech you for the reward of my hardship. Reward me, and compensate me for it with something good.”
May Allah save us from extreme hardship and ill-fate and make the only tears in our eyes be due to our love and fear of Him alone! –Ameen!!!
