We are looking happiness and comfort in materialistic things

Assalamualaikoum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

We are all in constant pursuit of the prolonged everlasting peace and happiness in life without finding them. This is because we are looking happiness and comfort in materialistic things. ⇨True happiness is from your Lord only, it is high time to know your origin. He is Allah the One, the full controller. [Az-Zumar: 4].

•►Remembrance of Allah works like a key to several locks. Peace of mind also has its own types: there is true and pure tranquility. We should allow ourselves to enter into a state of Tawakkul, a positive reassurance that whatever happens to us is always for our own benefit, whether it is spiritual or material.
→Say: 'Nothing will happen to us except what God has decreed for us: He is our protector': and on God let the Believers put their trust. (The Noble Quran, 9:51)
→Say: "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)." (Qur’an 3:173) and "Allah is the Best of the planners.[8: 30]".

Indeed peace is from my Lord, in His obedience and remembrance. Henceforth, worldly and material troubles cannot rob us of our peace of mind, because we have embarked into a stage which has been described by Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as follows: "A true believer has no worry except about his failure to fulfill his duties to the Lord."
→Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. [Surah Adh-Dhariyat Ayah's 57 -58]

•►The Qur'an's prescription relieves us from meaningless worries and gives us a simple formula to true happiness and peace quoting: "Surely in Allah's remembrance do the hearts find peace." (13:28)

⇨Remember the favors of God, that you may succeed. (7:69)
Those who seek God and remember Him will find contentment and joy in their lives with the knowledge that they are under the protection of Allah. When we utter praise to the Almighty and thank Him for his countless bounties, our hearts are filled with inner peace and reflection. Alhamdulillah.

⇨As long as we live within the limits prescribed to us by our Lord, satan can not disturbs our peace. With this solution in mind, we are no longer confused wanderers that stumble along their paths. We have chosen to trust our Creator, who is our everlasting source of peace as Allah promises the believers saying: "He it is Who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they might have more of faith added to their faith and Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Knowing, Wise." (48:4)

Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.(Qur’an 25: 31)
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, He is free from what they ascribe to Him! [37:180]. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. And verily, Allah He is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.

Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance. (18:10). Ameen.
