WHO IS ALLAH ???

WHO IS ALLAH ??? Allah (Most Perfect And High Exalted) Describes Himself In The Qur’aan, Surah Al Hadeed (Iron)

In the Name of Allah, the All Merciful, the Especially Merciful: "Allah's purity is proclaimed by all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and brings death, and He has power over all things. He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden, and He is All-Knowing about everything."

ALLAH'S PURITY IS PROCLAIMED BY ALL......In this Ayah, Allah (SwT) states that everything that exists in the heavens and earth praises and glorifies Him, including creatures and plants. Allah (SwT) said in another Ayah, translated as:

"The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His praise. But you understand not their glorification." [17:44]

AND HE IS THE ALMIGHTY……..meaning the One to Whom all things submit with humility, whether willingly or unwillingly. The willing submission includes acts of worship such as salah, fasting and restraining one’s desires. Unwilling submission includes becoming old, having to sleep etc.

"He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden, and He is All-Knowing about every thing." [3]

Ad-Dhaahir (the Manifest) – Allah (SwT) is Manifest through his creation and through proofs from him; yet the blind at heart turn away.
The attribute Al-Baatin [the Hidden] means that the accurate nature and essence of Allah's Being is hidden in the sense that the Divine Essence [dhaat] is beyond human perception. No intellect or thought can ever reach the accurate and Intrinsic Essence of Allah.

May Allah grant us the ability to recognise His Greatness and Perfection, and so love Him and depend on Him alone. Ameen
