- Omega-3 fatty acids: salmon, tuna, oily fish, fish oil, flaxseed oil and black currant seed oil
- Non-meat protein sources: eggs, nuts, beans
- Whole Grains: brown rice, whole oats, whole-wheat breads and pasta
- Legumes such as kidney beans, black-eyed peas and lentils
