Surah An-Naba. Ayah (9-11)

Surah An-Naba. Ayah (9-11)
(9. And We have made your sleep as a thing for rest.) (10. And We have made the night as a covering,) (11. And We have made the day for livelihood.)
(And We have made the night as a covering,) meaning, a tranquil residence. This is the design Allah has created. There is no compensation for the missed portion of sleep at night, at any hour of the day, because a tranquil sleep comes from Allah azzawajal and He has created only night for sleep. If someone tries to compensate it during the day, it won't be healthy for him. And, Concerning Allah's statement,
(And We have made the day for livelihood.) meaning, `We made it radiant, luminous, and shining so that the people would be able to move about in it.' By it they are able to come and go for their livelihood, earning, business dealings and other than that as well. This speaks loud and clear that all business dealings are social works are to be concluded with the maghrib prayer. As there is no Barakah in the night endeavors for making money. The Fazal of Allah is to be sought during the daytime, from dawn to dusk, according to the order of Allah and this makes sense.
