CINEMA THE HOUSE OF EVILS
No Muslim can doubt that the cinema that exists nowadays is fisq (evil), because it is the compilation of haraam things; it spreads images of women who are clothed yet naked. Cinema propagates and promotes sinful sexual relationships between men and women. This is in addition to the music and songs, and the films of crimes that corrupt society specially the youngsters in line with smoking, drinking and gang war. It is haraam to spread and propagate these things, that’s why in Islamic Shariah the cinema is fisq (evil).
The claim that the film highlights the corruption happening in the society in the name of religion, and it is an effective means of conveying the message, and calling people to real God and drawing lessons from history is to be refuted on the basis of reality. Assuming that this claim is correct, its negative aspects outweigh any good, and its bad consequences outweigh any good consequences. Anything that is like that should be disallowed and we should stop thinking of it.

Islamic view in this regard is: No matter how noble his intention or aim. The intention may be noble but the means must also be Islamically acceptable.
Regarding the usage of clips from this film for dawah purpose is: There are many means of conveying the message and spreading the call of Islam among people; the Prophets explained that to their nations, and these methods bore abundant fruit; by means of these methods Islam became victorious and Muslims gained power and honour. That has been proven by history. So we should follow that straight path, the path of those with whom Allah is pleased of the Prophets, siddeeqs, martyrs and righteous, and we should refrain from that which is closer to frivolity and fulfilling whims and desires than it is to serious effort and high resolve.
Undoubtedly the best way one can call people is with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace be upon him). For the Book of Allah is the greatest preaching method that can be used when advising mankind.
We ask Allah to keep us safe and sound, and to reform our society. May Allah divert filmi temptation away from us, both obvious and hidden. (Aameen)
