THE GLASS AND THE ORANGE

Children are very inquisitive when a child saw an orange inside a glass bottle, the child wondered how on earth a big orange could have come to be inside the bottle which had such a slim narrow neck.

He tried many times to remove the orange but to no avail, in wonder he asked his father how could the orange have gotten inside the bottle.

The father took the child to a garden near his home, and brought an empty similar bottle, and he put through the narrow neck, a branch which end had a small orange pip, and he tied the whole bottle to the branch, and left it.

Days later the orange became bigger inside the glass bottle and became impossible to get back out, only then the child knew the secret of how the big orange got inside the bottle with the narrow neck.

The father there and then told his son, this is our Islam my son, if you put Islamic principles and foundations in a child while they are young, it will be almost impossible to extract this from him when he matures.

Exactly the same as the orange that grew inside the narrow glass bottle,
it would be impossible to remove the orange, without breaking the glass bottle.
