Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Whoever after listening to the ‘Adhaan’ says,
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Whoever after listening to the ‘Adhaan’ says,
“Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-d-da' watit-tammati was-salatil qa'imati, ati Muhammadan al-Wasilata wal-Fadilata, wab' athhu Maqaman Mahmudan-il-ladhi wa' adtahu; Innaka la tukhleful meaadh.” will have my intercession made permissible for him on the Day of Judgement.’
(O Allah! Lord of this perfect call and of the regular prayer which is going to be established. Kindly give Muhammad (saws) the right of intercession and superiority and bestow upon him (saws) the ‘Maqaam am-Mahmuda’ (a station of Praise and Glory) which You promised him; verily, You never ever go against Your Promises.)
Abdullah ibn Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said,
"If you hear the ‘Adhaan’ (call to prayer) repeat after it. Then supplicate for me, for whoever makes one supplication for me, Allah makes ten for him. Then ask Allah to grant me the place of ‘Al-Wasilah’. It is a place in Paradise reserved for a slave from among the slaves of Allah. I hope to be him, and whoever asks Allah to grant me the place of ‘Al-Wasilah’, my intercession becomes permissible for him."
