POSITION OF THE FOOT IN SIJDA (MEN)
It is mandatory (Fard) that the thumb of the foot is pressed to the ground towards the qibla. It is Wajib that the first three toes are plated (including thumb) and it is Sunnah that the five toes are in the same position.
Unfortunately, many people do not pay attention to this.
