Abu Talhah narrates that the Prophet peace be upon him said "Angels do not enter a house that has either a dog or a picture in it." [Bukhari 3322]

Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned after citing this hadeeth that if Angels do not enter a house which contains an image or a dog then how will love and knowledge of Allaah, the sweetness of dhikr and comfort and closeness to Him penetrate the heart of a man that is filled with animal like desires with their images.
