Surah Al-Kahf and the Fitnah Of Dajjaal.



'Surah Al-Kahf and the Fitnah Of Dajjaal. Umm Sharik RA reported: I heard the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) saying, "People will run away from Dajjal seeking shelter in the mountains." (Muslim) Prophet (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Since the birth of Adam AS till the advent of qayamah, there is no fitnah much greater than that of dajjaal. He also said: If he appears while I am with you, I will defend you against him. But if he appears after I die, then everyone of you is his own defender. Allah is the One Who remains after me to guide every Muslim. In order to break-free ourselves from the fitnah of dajjaal, we should make sure to learn the first 10 verses of surah Al-Kahf. The whole surah is recommended by the prophet (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surat Al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal. (Sahih muslim Book 004, Hadith 1766) Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reports that the Prophet SAW said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Jumu’ah will have illumination from the light from one Jumu’ah to the next.” (an-Nasa’i, al-Baihaqi, and al-Hakim)'
