WHO IS KAAFIR?

'WHO IS KAAFIR?

Once few youngsters approached a street dawah team to know more about Islam, while talking to them a daaee from the street dawah team asked the youngsters: do you understand the Arabic words haraam, halaal, mustahabb, waajib, kaafir etc., I am quoting in my speech, and if you don’t understand such words please ask me for its explanation.

The youths replied: we are studying Islam from the last few months, and we are quite eminent with such words so you can continue your talk.

Just to test their knowledge the daaee asked the youngsters: what is meant by kaafir?

One among the youngsters replied: kaafir is a group of people commonly seen in YouTube lectures spotting in a long beard and trimmed mustache and having a turban or a skullcap with a headscarf on their head, they always keep their lower garment above the ankle.

The much astonished daee said: how can you tag these Muslim preachers seen in YouTube as kaafir?

They said that these turban clad preachers known as mawlaanas or hazraths often blames his opponents as kaafir related to the religious differences. According to the hadeeth that we came across Google search, either of these two mawlaanas one is kaafir for sure, and the evidence is as follows:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "If a man says to his brother, O kaafir (disbeliever)!' Then surely one of them is such (i.e., a Kaafir). " (Al Bukhari Book # 73, Hadith # 125)'
