The prophet (s a w s) forbade Al-qaz'a ( shaving part of the head and leaving part)
he (s a w a) saw a boy with part of his head shaved and part left unshaved . He forbade him from doing that saying "shave it all or leave it all" abu dauwd, sahih.

There are also numourous authentic narrations in nisa' i and sunan ibn majah that state Allah forbade QAz'a in the west, this type of hairstyle is called ""mohawk"" and is popular with some well -know celebrities in the end if Allah forbade it. What is the benefit of having it??
