A Reminder On The Importance Of Returning To Practicing Your Deen
A righteous man said:
The first duty of the Muslim man is to turn his home into a Muslim home, to direct his household toward performing the duties that connect them with Allah, so that they all have the same direction in life. How comforting is life in the shade of a home whose inhabitants all turn to Allah (the Lord of the Worlds)!

The Ummah (Muslim Nation) has split up in to sects, parties & groups. Each one sees itself upon the truth until what we are deserving of has overcome us.
Allaah revealed to His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم what happened to those before him & yet, despite this, we become confused as if we are in darkness without knowing the reasons for these trials & the cure for them.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said
“It is feared that nations will summon one another against you just like one calls to a feast.”

The companions رضي الله عنهم said,
“Will we be few (in number) in that time?”
“Will we be few (in number) in that time?”
“You will be large in number but you will be like the foam of the sea & Allah تبارك وتعالى, will take away the fear that the enemy has for you & put Wahn in your hearts.”
They said: “What is Wahn?”
He (Sallallahu alayh wa sallam) replied:
“It is love for this world & hatred for dying.”

Allaah تبارك وتعالى said:
{“This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allah is never unjust to (His) slaves.”}

{"And Allaah did not oppress them but they oppressed themselves.
Verily! Allaah will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves (by committing sins & by being ungrateful & disobedient to Allah."}

- Many Muslims are only concerned for this life! Their actions are mainly for this life. You will find Muslims very concerned with their children’s secular studies making sure they don’t miss one day from school.
__However, when they miss their prayers they say, “May Allah guide him,” rather , first & foremost, may Allah guide you.

- Those of you who have managed to come to the Mosque are, Allah willing, the best amongst this community for you have attended the prayers, but where are your children? Where are your children from the ages of 7, 8 to 15 years?
Love for this world, & if it was only for the lawful aspects of this life. Rather, we see Muslims partaking in the lawful & the unlawful matters. What benefit is there in watching the series on television while the hellfire surrounds us?
Abdullah Ibn Umar رضي الله عنه said he heard the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم say,
“If you deal with usury & you hold on to the cows tails & are pleased with agriculture & you leave off striving in Allaah’s cause, Allaah will permit your humiliation. He will not remove it until you return to your religion.”

Will Muslims wake up? Will they take heed?
Do they not see that they are put into trials every year, once or twice, then too they do not make Taubah turn unto Allaah Ta ‘ala and they do not take a lesson.

Imam al-sa’adi رحمه الله said:
that as long as a nation remains humiliated and over-powered without pressing for their due rights, then the affairs of their deen will not be established, just as the affairs of their dunya will not be established.
