I am a 28 years old revert for about 9 months now. I come from a small European country And I was born Christian . As I was growing, I saw people going to the church Sundays and after that going to the bars. I saw people drinking in Christmas, Easter, New year and all other religious celebrations. I saw so many fights around me… And at that time, I did not understand but alcohol is the worst enemy of humanity and it was causing divorce in my family and depression in people around me. I am thankful to Allah Swt for bringing me to UK 2 years ago where I first saw many people from different cultures and religions.
And what attracted me to Islam was the manners of Muslim brothers and sisters. I started studying and wanted to know more about Islam and Alhamdulillah, I reverted one day with my husband at home. I am so happy that Allah SWT brought me this peace in my heart. Honestly, it all make sense now.
I just pray for my brothers and sisters back home. Hope they have the courage to study and understand Islam. Even though I have been rejected by majority of my family and friends, I don't have regrets. I thank Allah for showing me the straight path and I ask Him to give me the strength to wear hijab. - Inga Aisha, UK
