'Kibr' (Arrogance)

There is only one thing that comes between someone (who have the knowledge of something) and from following that knowledge, and that is 'Kibr' (arrogance).
"He who has in his heart the weight of an atom of pride shall not enter Paradise." [Sahih Muslim 173]
Why? Because that pride will come between you and submitting to what you know.
Truly, when it was said to them: Lā ilāha ill-Allāh "(none has the right to be worshiped but Allāh)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it).
[Qur'an 37:35]
