Daily Hadith | Excellence of Praying in Masjid Al-Haram
عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ صَلاَةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلاَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلاَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلاَةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ
It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “One prayer in my Masjid (Masjid An-Nabawi) is better than one thousand (1000) prayers elsewhere, except the Masjid Al-Haram, and one prayer in the Masjid Al-Haram is better than one hundred thousand (100,000) prayers elsewhere.”
حضرت جابر فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا میری اس مسجد میں ایک نماز مسجد حرام کے علاوہ باقی مساجد کی ہزار نمازوں سے افضل ہے اور مسجد حرام میں ایک نماز دیگر مساجد کی لاکھ نمازوں سے افضل ہے۔
