Islam denounces events like April Fools’ Day which are based on immoral actions

نْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ

It was narrated that Bahz bin Hakim said: “My father narrated to me that his father said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: ‘Woe to the one who speaks and tells lies in order to make the people laugh; woe to him, woe to him.’”

حضرت بہز بن حکیم کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے میرے والد نے اپنے والد کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ ہلاکت ہے اس شخص کے لئے جو گفتگو میں قوم کو ہنسانے کے لئے جھوٹ بولے اس کی بربادی ہے اس کی بربادی ہے۔
