عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُؤْتَى بِالرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ كَيْفَ وَجَدْتَ مَنْزِلَكَ فَيَقُولُ أَىْ رَبِّ خَيْرَ مَنْزِلٍ . فَيَقُولُ سَلْ وَتَمَنَّ فَيَقُولُ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَرُدَّنِي إِلَى الدُّنْيَا فَأُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ لِمَا يَرَى مِنْ فَضْلِ الشَّهَادَةِ

It was narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “A man from among the people of Paradise will be brought and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will say: ‘O son of Adam, how do you find your place (in Paradise)?’ He would say: ‘O Lord, it is the best place.’ He will say: ‘Ask and wish (for whatever you want).’ He would say: ‘I ask You to send me back to the world so that I may be killed in Your cause ten time’ – (This is because of the superiority of the martyrdom and the high position which martyrs would be made to occupy in heaven).’”

انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اہلِ جنت میں سے ایک شخص کو لایا جائے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے ارشاد فرمائے گا: اے آدم کے بیٹے! تجھے اپنی منزل کیسی لگی؟ تو وہ کہے گا: اے رب! یہ بہترین جگہ ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: مانگ اور تمنا کا اظہار کر۔ وہ عرض کرے گا: میں یہ چاہتا ہوں کہ تو مجھے دنیا کی طرف لوٹا دے اور میں تیرے راستے میں دس بار شہید کیا جاؤں۔ یہ سوال وہ اس لیے کرے گا کہ وہ شہادت کے اجروثواب اور فضیلت کو دیکھ رہا ہو گا۔
