[Al-Quran 16: 94]

Quran’s Lesson - Surah An-Nahl 16, Verse 94, Part 14

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا السُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

And make not your oaths, a means of deception among yourselves, lest a foot may slip after being firmly planted, and you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ), and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter).

نیز تم اپنی قسموں کو باہمی معاملات میں دھوکا دینے کا ذریعہ نہ بناؤ، ورنہ تمہارے قدم جم جانے کے بعد پھر سے اکھڑ جائیں گے اور (عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے) جو تم اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے رہے اس کی پاداش میں تمہیں برا نتیجہ بھگتنا ہوگا اور (آخرت میں) تمہارے لئے بہت بڑا عذاب ہوگا۔
