Delivering Khutbah (Sermon) while Standing
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ، كَمَا تَفْعَلُونَ الآنَ
Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver the Khutbah while standing and then he would sit, then stand again as you do now-a-days.
ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ پڑھتے تھے، پھر بیٹھتے، پھر کھڑے ہوتے تھے، جیسا کہ تم کرتے ہو۔
