Daily Hadith | Fasting in the month of Sha’ban
Fast according to Quran and Sunnah:
عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَصُومُ مِنَ السَّنَةِ شَهْرًا تَامًّا إِلاَّ شَعْبَانَ يَصِلُهُ بِرَمَضَانَ
It was reported from Abu Salamah, from Umm Salamah, from the Prophet ﷺ that he ﷺ never would fast a complete month out of the year except Sha’ban, connecting it to Ramadan.
حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سال کے کسی مہینہ میں پورے مہینہ کے روزے نہیں رکھتے تھے سوائے شعبان کے کہ اس کو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رمضان سے ملا دیتے تھے۔
