Forgive My Entire Ummah

Allah has given every single Prophet, one request – one supplication that is guaranteed to be accepted. The Prophets of the past have used this to ask something that they really wanted to see fulfilled.

Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said, “Every prophet is given a supplication sure to be answered and every prophet hastened his supplication in this life; however, I have delayed my supplication until the intercession on the Day of Resurrection, so it will be granted, if Allah wills, to whoever among my nation died without associating partners with Allah.” (Sahih Muslim 199)

This is the Dua of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him), that anybody who believed in me, O Allah forgive him. Allah will accept this Dua and every single Muslim will eventually enter Jannah. Every single person who believed in him and acted upon it even a little bit, no matter how sinful that person is, will eventually enter Paradise.

So here we see, how the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him) saved this one Dua for us, that he could have used for himself. But he chose to make the sacrifice for his Ummah, this shows us the love that he had for all of us.
