hearts of the criminals

47:24 Surat Muĥammad.

Reminder

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Do they not then think deeply in the Quran, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)?

بھلا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے یا (ان کے) دلوں پر قفل لگ رہے ہیں

ALSO

Allah, the Exalted, says:

In their heart there is a disease and Allah has increased their disease and grievous is their penalty because they lie to themselves

Al-Baqarah 2:10

ان کے دلوں میں (کفر کا) مرض تھا۔ خدا نے ان کا مرض اور زیادہ کر دیا اور ان کے جھوٹ بولنے کے سبب ان کو دکھ دینے والا عذاب ہوگا

ALSO

15:12-15 Surat Al-Ĥijr

Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.

They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.

They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."

اسی طرح ہم اس (تکذیب وضلال) کو گنہگاروں کے دلوں میں داخل کر دیتے ہیں

سو وہ اس پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور پہلوں کی روش بھی یہی رہی ہے

اوراگر ہم آسمان کا کوئی دروازہ اُن پر کھول دیں اور وہ اس میں چڑھنے بھی لگیں

تو بھی یہی کہیں کہ ہماری آنکھیں مخمور ہوگئی ہیں بلکہ ہم پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہے

ALSO

The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said:

“…Indeed there is in the body a piece of flesh which if it is sound then the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt then the whole body is corrupt. Indeed it is the Heart”

The Messenger Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam said:

“When the servant performs a sin a black spot appears on his heart, and if he seeks forgiveness this black spot is removed, and if he returns to sin the black spot grows until his heart becomes black, and this is the ‘Raan’.”

An-Nasaa’ee & Tirmidhi

Allah, the Exalted, says:

Al-Mutaffifeen 83:14

Nay! But on their hearts is the covering of sins (raan) which they used to earn

دیکھو یہ جو (اعمال بد) کرتے ہیں ان کا ان کے دلوں پر زنگ بیٹھ گیا ہے

ALSO

The Messenger Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam said:

“Your most-ardent-enemy is your evil self which resides within your body.”

Bukhari

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبِ إِلَيْهِ

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبِ إِلَيْهِ
