CONCEPT OF JIHAD IN ISLAM

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Here we are again posted about Jihad, (we already posted just one month back) because, the concept of jihad is indeed a Quranic one, but sadly, a false and twisted version of this Holy Quranic concept has been used by non-Muslims spreading wrong message about Islam.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, in generally, such non-Muslims peoples using Holy Quran, Surah 9:5 at-Tawbah.

Of course, it means kill the non- believers when we seeing. But they don’t know context. The context is a persist rule between Muslims and Mushirik (non-believers) in Makkah. But, non- believers it is broken.

Dear Brothers & Sisters, if read Holy Quran Surah 9:6 at-Tawbah, it will gives replay such non-Muslims. ALLAH (SWT) Says in Quran,9:6 “AND IF ANY ONE OF THE POLYTHEISTS SEEKS YOUR PROTECTION, THEN GRANT HIM PROTECTION SO THAT HE MAY HEAR THE WORDS OF GOD [I.E., THE QUR’AN]. THEN DELIVER HIM TO HIS PLACE OF SAFETY. THAT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE A PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW”.

Dear Brothers & Sisters, again we are saying that Islam is a religion of PEACE; War exists only as an exception

Islam is the biggest enemy of TERRORISM, FANATICISM and OPPRESSION

Linguistic meaning of JIHAD: STRIVING – STRUGGLING

Islamic meaning of JIHAD:
A- Non-violent struggling within oneself for a life of virtue

B- Saying the truth, even if against ones’ own interests

C-Combat to establish justice, which is a supreme goal

Allah (SWT) says in Holy Quran, Surah 2:190 al-Baqarah “FIGHT IN THE WAY OF GOD THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU BUT DO NOT TRANSGRESS. INDEED, GOD DOES NOT LIKE TRANSGRESSORS”

Combat orders as in the traditions of PROPHET MOHAMMAD (PBUH):

NEVER KILL INNOCENT

PEOPLE NEVER TORTURE

PRISONERS OF WAR NEVER KILL ANIMALS

NEVER DESTROY CROPS

NEVER DESTROY INFRASTRUCTURES

NEVER MUTILATE BODIES OF ENEMIES DEAD OR ALIVE

ALL PRISONERS GIVEN FAIR TREATMENT

WOMEN, CHILDREN & ELDERLY PROTECTED FROM HARM

ALWAYS BURY ALL DEAD WITH RESPECT
