Do not believe what ever the media tells you about muslims. We are not terrorists and not every person with a hijab deserves to die. What people do in the name of Islam is not our fault, these people do not belong to Islam because our religion never said to kill anyone.
Exhibit 1: “and do not kill a soul that God has made sacrosanct, save lawfully.” Quran, 6:151
Exhibit 2: “But if the enemies incline towards peace, do you also incline towards peace. And trust in God! For He is the one who hears and knows all things.” Quran, 8:61
Exhibit 3: “I instruct you in ten matters: Do not kill women, children, the old, or the infirm; do not cut down fruit-bearing trees; do not destroy any town” Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, the first Caliph
Exhibit 4: “Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong to them. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong (even) if they do evil.” The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
Exhibit 5: “And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.” Quran, 5:8
Exhibit 6: “Surely they that believe, and those of Jewry, and the Christians, and those Sabeaans, whoso believes in God and the Last Day, and works righteousness–their wage waits them with their Lord, and no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow.” Quran, 5:69
These are a few examples from Islam that show that under no circumstances is a person permitted to kill anyone else. Just as others do not deserve to die, muslims do not as well. Stand by our side like we will always stand by other victim’s sides. Help protect us in the time when everyone else is against us.
May the souls of every muslim and non muslim taken with no mercy and reason rest in peace and may all grant us Jannah and forgive any short comings.
