ISLAM is about ALLAH, the Rasul and our Parents.

ISLAM is about ALLAH, the Rasul and our Parents.
"Worship God and join not any partners with Him; and be kind to your parents..."
[Surah Al Nisa 4:36]
"And We have enjoined upon man [ care] for his parents. His Mother carried him, [increasing her ] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your Parents; to Me is the (Final) destination. "
[ Surah Luqman 31:14]
1. As a Muslim, you must always wake up every morning felling Islam, bearing witness and believing that, there is no deity worthy of worship but ALLAH (Subhana Wa Ta'la).
You must dedicate all your worships, demands, fears, dependents, supplications and invocations to Him ALLAH alone. Avoid shirk of any kind. Because ALLAH says:
"And they were commanded not, but that they should worship ALLAH, and worship none but Him alone ( abstaining from ascribing partners to Him)."
[Surah Al Bayyinah 98:5]
"You must know and believe that there is no one who can harm or benefit you in this world but He ALLAH. You must therefore follow what the Quran says to the best or as much as you can.
The Quran says:
"So keep your duty to ALLAH and fear Him as much as you can. "
[ Surah Al Taghabun 64:16]
2. Your Love for ALLAH, dedications and love for the Noble Quran will be complicated until it goes in line with what the RASULULLAH Muhammad ( SalAllahu Alayhi WaSalam) brought and taught us. After ALLAH, we do not have to follow anyone but the Rasool directly no mediator or Sheikh.
You do not have to see anyone to be a way or TAREEQA to ALLAH but Muhammadu RASULULLAH, he is your Rasool, Waliyi, Imam and Interceder. And this is what Islam is all about.
The Quran says:
"If you obey the Rasul, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey the message in a clear way ( i.e., to preach in a plain way and for us to follow His way Tareeqa and that's SUNNAH)."
[Surah Al Furqan 24:54]
My fellow Muslims, ISLAM is all about worshipping ALLAH alone by following what the RASULULLAH ( SalAllahu Alayhi WaSalam) asked us and taught us to do. Not what my sheikh or your sheikh designs for you or me. We only need those our Sheikh to teach us what we don't know and to explain certain things for us and we must give them that respect and pray for them. But not absolutely follow all what they say.
After ALLAH and His Messenger the next in line for us to follow and respect are our 2 parents, our Mothers and fathers. I swear by ALLAH ( Subhana Wa Ta'la) the one in His hands my soul is. Your Mother and Father are far, and far better in front of ALLAH than your Sheikh or Waliyi. If you disobey your Sheikh nothing will happen to you and ALLAH will never ask you about that Sheikh.
But ALLAH ( Subhana Wa Ta'la) will put you into the Hellfire and will curse you if you ever saddened your father and mother. Your father brought you into this world and not your Sheikh or Waliyi.
Even that your Waliyi if he also disobey and look down on his parents will meet the wroth of ALLAH ( Subhana Wa Ta'la).
If you look at some verses in the Holy Quran, ALLAH even relates His worships to the obedience of parents.
The Quran says:
"Worship ALLAH alone and be kind to your parents."
[Quran 4:36]]
ALLAH ( Subhana Wa Ta'la) created you from the beginning, but He allowed your parents to give birth to you, and for that matter, worship Him (ALLAH) by following the RASUL and obey your parents.
All other humans are equal to you in front of ALLAH. Even if your Mother is a charcoal seller provided she is a Muslim, she is far better to you in the front of ALLAH that your Sheikh or Waliyi. Do not allow yourself to deceived and misled by any Sheikh or Waliyi into following him and fear Him as if he brought you into this world.
The Rule of Islam is: worship ALLAH alone. You do that by loving and following the Rasul and his Sunnah. As your first and second obligations. Then comes the love and kindness to your father and mother. Even they are the most poorest parents on the earth, they can make you or break in front of ALLAH. The Rasul says:
"ALLAH's pleased with you comes from when your parents are happy with you, and the anger of ALLAH also germinates from the angers of your parents.
Our Rasul says tha, "Our Paradise are under the feets of our Mothers. But unfortunate some people, like those your sheikh or the call Waliyi, will deceive people into even loving and respecting them by their followers more than their own parents and this is Haram.
May ALLAH keep His Love and the love of the Rasul in our hearts. And may ALLAH expose those so called spiritual Waliyi or sheikh for us not to see them as anything special but just like as any scholar, they can be followed or rejected based on their actions or inactions.
Ameen.
