Narrated Abu Ma’mar:

عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِخَبَّابِ بْنِ الأَرَتِّ أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ قَالَ نَعَمْ. قَالَ قُلْتُ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ قِرَاءَتَهُ قَالَ بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ

Narrated Abu Ma’mar: I asked Khabbab bin Al-Art whether the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite the Qur'an in the Zuhr and the ‘Asr prayers. He replied in the affirmative. I said: “How did you come to know that?” He replied: “From the movement of his beard.”

ابومعمر بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے خباب بن ارت سے کہا کہ کیا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ظہر اور عصر (کی نماز) میں قرآن مجید پڑھتے تھے؟ وہ بولے کہ ہاں! میں نے کہا تم کس طرح آپ کا پڑھنا معلوم کرلیتے تھے؟ وہ بولے کہ آپ کی داڑھی کی جنبش سے۔
