Virtue of remaining silent & listening Jumu’ah Khutbah (Sermon)
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever performs Ghusl, then comes to Jumu’ah, and prays what is decreed for him, then listens attentively until the Khutbah is over, then prays with him (the Imam), will be forgiven (his sins) between that and the next Jumu’ah, and three days more.”
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جو آدمی غسل کرے پھر جمعہ پڑھنے کے لئے آئے تو جتنی نماز اس کے لئے مقدر تھی اس نے پڑھی پھر وہ خاموش رہا یہاں تک کہ امام اپنے خطبہ سے فارغ ہوگیا پھر امام کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی تو اس کے ایک جمعہ سے دوسرے جمعہ کے درمیان کے سارے گناہ معاف کر دیئے گئے اور مزید تین دنوں کے گناہ بھی معاف کر دیئے گئے۔
